We’re looking for a hands-on Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team, who can work end-to-end with data from extraction through to modelling, optimisation, and delivering meaningful insights across a range of topics. The candidate must be highly experienced in SQL, Power BI, and Python, with solid knowledge of ETL processes, data engineering practices, optimisation, and automation, and must be able to apply industry standards such as performance tuning, version control, and data governance.
This role also requires excellent documentation, clear communication, and requirement-gathering skills. The ideal candidate will have innovative problem-solving abilities and demonstrate the capacity to adapt quickly to changing business and technical requirements.

• Collaborate with different teams to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Retrieve and integrate data from multiple sources by developing and optimising ETL processes.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Apply data engineering practices such as data modelling, schema design, and performance optimisation.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide clear and reliable insights.
• Use Python or similar tools to automate and streamline reporting tasks.
• Produce clear documentation for data processes, models, and reporting workflows.
• Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Approach work with a solution driven mindset, demonstrating creativity and flexibility when priorities shift.
• Optimise performance of BI solutions, including SQL queries, data models, and Power BI dashboards, to ensure scalability.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, documenting assumptions, logic, and workflows.
• Automate workflows for data extraction, transformation, and dashboard refreshes to improve efficiency and reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years’ experience in the related field.

• Proven relevant experience ideally in telecommunications or ISP.
• Experience analysing data across disparate sources and platforms.
• Strong SQL and database management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting (e.g. Python, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver under tight deadline.
