The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a company's fleet of vehicles. This includes managing vehicle maintenance, driver safety, fuel consumption, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The Supervisor will play a crucial role in optimizing fleet efficiency and minimizing operational costs while maintaining a safe and reliable transportation system.
Detailed description of MAIN tasks and KEY responsibilities
- Fleet Maintenance, Schedule and oversee all vehicle maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Track and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repair costs
- Driver Safety & Training, Implement and enforce company driver safety policies and procedures and Conduct driver safety training programs.
- Fleet Management Software, Generate reports on fleet performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs.
Education and Work Experience (Preferred background)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Have at least 5 years of experience in the relevant field
- Experience in fleet or transportation management
Skills/Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations
- Ability to work in high-paced environment
