This role involves leading business and technical requirement analysis, preparing solution documentation, and designing scalable billing system architectures. The Senior Solution Architect will guide and support development, integration, migration, and implementation activities while working closely with Commercial, Finance, Operations, and technical teams to ensure the billing platform is accurate, efficient, maintainable, and aligned with business and customer needs.

• Lead the end-to-end billing system revamp, from requirement analysis and solution design to implementation and deployment.  
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Product, and technical teams to collect, analyze, validate, and prioritize business and technical requirements.  
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, technical requirements, solution designs, and implementation plans.  
• Maintain comprehensive solution documentation, including HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, integration documents, process flows, migration plans, and user guides 
• Design and document the overall billing solution architecture, including CRM integration, ERP integration, payment gateways, invoicing processes, operational workflows, customer-facing flows, and external system integrations.  
• Define scalable and automated billing workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, maintainability, and operational control.  
• Guide the development teams during implementation to ensure alignment with the approved architecture, business requirements, and technical standards.  
• Review frontend and backend implementations, including dashboards, billing views, reporting interfaces, APIs, integrations, and data flows, to ensure consistency with the solution design.  
• Review and validate data models, integration designs, migration approaches, system performance, and security considerations.  
• Ensure proper integration with internal and external systems such as CRM, ERP, payment gateways, network elements, authentication platforms, and reporting systems.  
• Support and oversee testing phases, including system testing, integration testing, UAT, and billing accuracy validation.  
• Identify and address billing discrepancies, revenue leakage risks, integration gaps, process inefficiencies, and system design issues.  
• Ensure the billing solution complies with financial, regulatory, audit, security, and operational requirements.  
• Ensure user interfaces and operational screens align with business usability needs, brand guidelines, and UI/UX standards.  
• Support deployment, data migration, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.  
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in solution design, system development, implementation, integration, and maintenance.  
• Proven experience working on end-to-end business solutions, preferably including invoicing, CRM integrations, operational workflows, and system integrations. 
• Experience in billing system development, implementation, or maintenance is preferred, especially in telecom, ISP, or subscription-based environments. 
• Experience supporting and maintaining production systems, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and issue resolution.  
• Demonstrated involvement in system revamp, migration, or transformation projects is preferred.

• Strong understanding of solution architecture, system design, scalability, maintainability, and high-availability principles.  
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, technical designs, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.  
• Strong knowledge of integration architecture, including APIs, middleware, data flows, event-driven integrations, and system-to-system communication.  
• Ability to review and validate solution designs, data models, integration approaches, performance considerations, and security requirements.  
• Practical background in both front-end and back-end development, with the ability to guide development teams and review technical implementations.  
• Experience with SQL databases and large-scale transactional systems.  
• Experience with ETL processes, data migration, and system transformation or revamp projects is highly desirable. 
• Experience with billing, invoicing, subscription management, recurring billing, pricing models, discount logic, product catalogs, and revenue-related workflows is preferred.  
• Familiarity with telecom/ISP concepts such as AAA, RADIUS, CDRs, usage records, provisioning, and network-related billing integrations is preferred. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Finance, Operations, Product, and technical teams.  
• Willingness to adapt, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement.
